If you're looking for something that keeps both kids and adults entertained, Esplora needs to be near the top of your list. We spent hours here exploring the hands-on exhibits, joining in with the interactive activities and experiments, and watching the kids' curiosity really come to life. Every room had something new to discover, which made learning genuinely feel like fun rather than a chore.
Set in the historic Villa Bighi in Kalkara, overlooking the Grand Harbour, it's a mix of climate-controlled indoor halls and outdoor spaces. That makes it brilliant whether you're trying to escape the summer heat, need a rainy-day plan, or simply want a proper family day out.
It's safe to say this has become one of our favourite places in Malta, and we'll definitely be back.
